August 19, 2024, a 40-year-old worker was killed by an explosion from offshore natural gas pipelines near South Pass Louisiana. Police said when the explosion and fire occurred, the worker had been operating a mud boat near a natural gas pipeline.
The pipelines had been blocked while one remained on fire and the remaining natural gas in this line was burned out.
Such tragedies could be prevented by W CHIP remote portable or fixed natural gas detectors by TDLAS technology which is the best gas sensing technology among all. Our detectors can detect and measure the very early stage of natural gas leaks.
Offshore, onshore and city natural gas pipelines are very important, let us work together help to protect lives and properties.
